I can definitely understand the panic you feel about this holiday season. I, myself, lost my mother in August and my aunt in October. I know this year will be so hard for me. I don't know what I'll do this year yet. My mother and aunt were the center of my family and now they're gone.

I'm planning on getting carnations and putting them on my mom's grave to let her know I love and miss her. That's my plan for Xmas day. Xmas eve we all congregate at my dad's house for gift opening. It's always been that way so both parents could have a full day with us kids.

Just think of your sister as being there with you in spirit. I have to do that. Remember she loves you and would not want you to disregard the holidays in exchange for the sadness you feel. Remember how much she loved you and go with that. You have time to grieve later.
