another new forum or two? I've been checking out the links from psychcentral to other "support" sites and one item that caught my attention was a "no reply" post area. While I don't like the idea of venting per se... maybe a place to make announcements or another for civil statements?

Many times ppl post in General because they don't know where else to put the post...and that works ok...but with all the other posts in General now, it is difficult (for me) to keep up with it all.

In a no reply forum, ppl who are going to be gone for a short time and just want to tell us, or those who are "back" and just want us to know, older members who want to give updates in general , you know, like CURRENT EVENTS for members... Got a job, got a new grandbaby whatever!

Or a forum for semi-venting (is there such a thing?) Thoughts about the community as a whole, about self, a blast to all about their having a bad week, concerns, viewpoints in general?

Maybe just break the General posting down into two sections to keep it smaller and easier to manage is all I'm thinking.
