Who cares whether your therapist likes you or not. What matters is whether YOU like them and whether they are helping you. There are so many bad therapists out there that really should not be practicing, do not be hard on yourself. Make sure they are accountable and if you are not happy then find someone else, or if necessary report them. I struggle with psychotherapy and find many practitioners to be judgemental trying to place their values onto me. This is the problem with therapy and I find it does not work for me. Accept that you have a different way of thinking from others and focus on your strengths. Do not let the insecurity and ignorance of others effect the ability for you to reach your potential.
