These are all really good ideas. I work from home and I have OCD and Bipolar so - either my house is pristine or it is a dump. And I have a child so.. it's hard to get through the dump part without feeling horrible.
For me I had to craft a routine, at least weekly, and do it, no matter what. I still get down and can't/don't do anything for a while, but I try to do at least one thing every day, which I think was something someone else mentioned above.
I do most of my housework on my days off, making lists and watching Netflix or whatever while I'm cleaning/baking.
Another thing I wanted to suggest is listening to podcasts while doing your housework - so that you are interested in something that's going on at that moment. It's helped me a lot.
