Finally biting the bullet and am going to request accommodations. I have been having a really hard time getting passed the idea of having a disability. My T and I are going to make a like of requests tomorrow. I am going to meet with the accommodations coordinator here at work some time soon.

The one request my T is really interested in is getting me an emotional support dog. Not sure if work will allow it or even if I can afford it. But I guess it doesn't hurt to ask. Another thing that I will need in the future is a more private workspace. Right now we have offices but in the new building we are moving to will be an open floor plan. With just desks. Both my T and pdoc insist that I can't work in those conditions.

So this will all be interesting to see how it all shakes out. I am pretty freaked out about it all. Especially if they do say I can have a dog. Then I will have to explain it to people. It is kind of a catch 22.
