Hello HaeliRealic: You know... realistically there's no way I'm aware of to simply push delusional thoughts aside.

Doing so simply makes them keep coming back stronger & more frequently in my experience. What needs to happen here is for you to get in to see a psychologist or mental health therapist... someone you can talk this over with & figure out what to do about it.
In the meantime, though, there is a Buddhist practice that may be of some benefit to you until you can get in to see a mental health professional. It is referred to as: compassionate abiding. Here's a link to a mental-health-oriented description of the practice:

May it be of benefit...
I see this is your first post here on PC. So...

PsychCentral… from the Skeezyks!

May the time you spend here be of benefit.
PsychCentral is a great place to get information as well as support for mental health issues. The more you post, & reply to other members’ posts, the more a part of the community you will become.

Plus there are social groups you can join & chat rooms where you’ll be able to connect with other PC members in real time (once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved.) Lots of great stuff! So please keep posting!
