I'm not a fan to Celexa because I did not feel it taking me out from the abysmal hole i was in. Until I met it's brother, Lexapro (ESCITALOPRAM) 20MG.
It's typically the same molecular formula.

The difference between CITALOPRAM & ESCITALOPRAM is the follwing: Escitalopram is the stronger and more powerful version than Citalopram.

Chemically speaking its the most active isomer in Celexa.
It's been proven to be effective in alleviating depressive symptoms on the first day.
I can testify that the first day I tried it Lexapro, it uplifted my spirits and within the first week, I felt even better.

Celexa, even after 5 months of treatment, I did not see a significant improvement.

Then again, everyone reacts differently.
I wish you the very best!
