I don't know since how long you have been with him but I didn't find his attention very supportive. Unless you made a huge scene and was unkind to certain people I don't think there's any point to feel bad or apologise.
For now I am single and I know one of the most important quality of the next man that I would want in my life is to be supportive and kind.
