Well... I don't know about this.

I'm an older person myself. But I've certainly had a variety of different tracks my mind has pretty-much always run along. And, unfortunately, there are at least a couple of different pairs of them that seem to cross back-&-forth over one another... which creates havoc as the trains of my thoughts run along the tracks & keep crashing into one another.

The results of these repetitive collisions have been, & still are, some of the more disturbing aspects of my mental processes. The one good thing is that, now that I'm aging, a lot of it just doesn't really matter any more. It all just simply is what it is. So even though the collisions still occur, they're mostly of no particular consequence anymore... if that makes any sense...
