Yes sometimes I do. Especially with one of my Ts, he can really trigger me that way. I usually tell them when something bothers me and I am aware of it but I refuse to use sessions to fight T vs me excessively as I don't find that particularly helpful and relevant to my everyday life. Well, sometimes it is relevant and when I sense that, I discuss more. But I don't like creating a parallel universe in therapy and pay for dissecting it when things only appear with that T and I don't see a larger pattern.
