I've had a lot of hamsters in my life time,
Zippy- My first,
Lilly- Whom I got as a "cheer up" present upon Zippie's death
Hamtara, My bro's hampster, as I was no longer allowed any, although I had to take care of her,
Bichou, a male we got from my mom's friend,
Hamtara and Bichou had 9 babies, one was stillborn, 6 died along with Hamtara one extremely sad day, a few days after Bischou died.
The surviving two were given away.
My point- I have been through a whole lot of hammie deaths, and just because they're " just hampsters" it doesn't make it any easier.
