Are you in therapy now? If not, how long was your therapy? Do you need therapy but have trouble accessing it? Do you need therapy but just don't want to invest?
I've been in psychodynamic therapy for 7 years now. I'm very attached to my therapist, and he is helpful to me, so I don't want to quit.
But I'm ambivalent-a part of me is worn and tired of dealing with the past. When is it time to put the past behind you? I think I learned a great deal about myself, but the issues are never going to be resolved. I wonder if I will be going to therapy the rest of my life.
