I feel so truly sorry for you Your parents, especially your mother sound toxic. Please realize their attitude is NOT a reflection on you. I think Bill's questions are queries to consider. I do realize its your decision whatever you decide. My mom was often cold to me and my dad was literally distant, ie mean physically, geographically because he was coinstantly traveling throughout the US as a member of pop music band. I live in the US.
