Some of my memories are proper memories where I get the memory and emotions as well - which are usually strong eg joy or sadness.

Quite a lot are viewing things from a distance with no sense of emotion and no idea of context, just get flashes of memory. And sometimes I don't know if I've imagined them or dreamed them, so that gets confusing too.
