Although I do everything I can to take care of my depression, I've been hospitalized during severe episodes twice in the past 18 months. My health now is pretty good, and I'm grateful for that. I hope it stays that way. But if it doesn't, I want to be prepared. To that end, I've been putting together some medical paperwork and to-do lists for a future hospitalization.

The difficulty is that doing so brings up a lot of fear and reminds me of the anguish I experience when I'm very sick. I'd like to be able to prepare for the worst while continuing to hope for the best. Do you have any feedback or suggestions?
