I realise that the rules in the US are very different from where I live in England, but what is the maximum time off sick that you can take on full pay? Would it be worth taking this, in a way that doesn't put you in a tricky position with a new employer, and using that time to find a new role? Or would you consider something that includes accommodation, like working at a college or an environmental type of job? I have been in your shoes, with institutional bullying, and my heart goes out to you. I wish I could do more to help.
