Life is short, and there are ignorant people everywhere. I think it's best to ignore the ones who behave in a nasty manner. Although I'll agree, it's annoying if you are stuck with say, a co-worker who acts like a bag of turd, because you're kind of forced to put up with that person in your work venue.
