When I need to contact her, I send an email. Usually it is for scheduling. I rarely contact her, when I need emotional support. She urges me to call, but I never do. I prefer reaching out to friends and family. They know me a lot better than my therapist who only sees me in her office. Friends and family can give hugs when needed, and they don't diagnose me with all kinds of BS disorders, when I am upset.
