This is a rant. Just need to get this off my chest.
My A/C went out Wednesday. Called for service and the guy got here late in the day. Thankfully he fixed it. Then yesterday afternoon I came in the house of cool off after working outside in 100 degree heat. NO A/C!!!!!! Called the company and they said they couldn't guarantee a service guy could get out since it was already 8PM. Told them fine first thing in the morning would be okay. Stood under cold water in the shower, then sat in front of a fan. Laid on top of the bed with the ceiling fan going and a fan in the window blowing on me. Finally feel asleep around 1AM.
When the guy was here Wednesday he said he thought one of the breakers for the system was going bad. I zipped into town to get a new breaker this AM hoping that would solve the problem. Still no A/C.     This Lizard likes warm weather, but 89 degrees in the house is outrageous!
Repair guy called a few minutes ago to say he is on his way. Hmmm, 1PM doesn't seem like "first thing in the morning" to me.
The poor cats are sprawled wherever they can find some place less than roasting. Mikey came over and was nosing me while he panted. I think he was asking me to turn the A/C on.
Ah well, this is a fixable problem.
