The devil doesn't have your soul - even if he may want it. If he did, you would not bother to fight his beckoning nor his desires for you. You are right though, you do have your friends...but even they aren't all you have. You have your fiance. You have your strength and perseverance. You have your counselor. And given the sound of the subject matter of this poem, I feel safe in including - you have the love of the Lord.

I hope you will accept whatever help your counselor feels you do or do not need rather than fighting against it so perhaps by opening yourself up enough you can receive and benefit from the help you are given. You deserve every second of happiness you can get. I wish it was every second you were on this earth, but sadly I know that will not be the case, simply because nobody ever gets to be happy all the time. Please be good to yourself. I care about you even if we rarely talk anymore. I think of you often.
