During times where I felt I was completely falling apart, I have used time off work. It really helped, although I felt pressure for calling out. Your health comes first though, otherwise, there's such a build up, in my experience. Although I don't know everything about your situation, if you could afford to take a day or two, then put yourself first and go for it. If you must work, take it easy. If you have opportunities for breaks during the day, definitely take advantage of them and don't push yourself too hard. If things get especially bad, there's always FMLA that your pdoc could fill out for you, so that you can take some time off to take better care of yourself.
