Old post I know, but I figured I'd respond, since I have been taking a very low dose (25mg/day) of Seroquel for about 4 weeks now and it seems to be edging me into hypomania. Over the past 5-7 days I've noticed more energy, more motivation, and I'm more distracted. My fairly severe depression (what my psych prescribed the Seroquel to assist with) is gone and I feel good. The only telltale sign of mania/hypomania that is not present is reduced hours of sleep. In past episodes I would only need 3-4 hours of sleep per night (as opposed to all other times when I need about 7-8 hours per night). That is not happening as of yet. Seroquel does kind of knock me out, so maybe it's canceling out.
