I'm a floater at a daycare. But it is not that. Everyone there never really knows what time they are going to leave because conditions change depending on how many kids are there. But me especially, I do not know until the day before the start of the week what time I will be working. And I hate that. I want to go to college but I have no time to do that because things at work are unpredictable and I would miss classes. I don't really want to talk to my boss about it because I hate the way she has an attitude about anything and everything and makes me feel like my problem does not matter and is bothering her. I had to go to the hospital one day and they would not answer the phone so I left a message. They claimed I was a no call no show! I had no idea a place would not check their messages; when I am there they always have the phone and carry it around in their pockets. And the boss waited like a week a half to say anything to me about it and even threw it in my face. "So can we count on you to be here (a certain day)?" I said, "Yes. Of course. Why couldn't you?" And she said, "Well you're always calling out sick." I had not called out sick in a long time, and it was an emergency and I told her. "So it was just a fluke," she commented.

No, it was an emergency.

I have considered doing a stocking job.
