I have been on similar to clonopin, I am on Valium and have been on it daily for 11 years now.

I do have nerve damage in my right extremity. I have not been told if it is the long term benzodiazephams or my Cervical Spinal Stenosis. I do know though I have been told I have CNS damage and when they try to taper me off of the Valium after being on it for so long now (40 mg a day) that it plays part in my memory loss and things.

I am not sure about the long term clonopin I was on the Brand Klonopin in addition only for short periods of time.

Since I do have a spinal disorder and alot of pain I know the Valium works as a Muscle Relaxer and I was wondering if you take any other medications beside clonopin?

I have also been on Psycotropic medications for 11 years and they have caused me some symptoms you described.

I hope your doctor can help in the finding of the cause of your symptoms and things can be changed so you do not have these problems. Sorry for such a long reply, I do hope you get to feeling better soon.
