Your feelings are real no matter what your age.....Moonkin, you strike me as an old soul, you are so good to the people here, and I do believe you will make a great psychologist one day, that is, if you don't give up on life!! There is a saying, if you have ONE true friend, you are blessed....I have found in my experience it takes persuing many friendships and through the years you learn just to what degree each friendship blossoms into a TRUE friendship..how about a support group? www.nami.org is another..I also find friends at church, one of my jobs at starbucks I made friends with a co-worker, met one of their friends, and their friend ended up a true friend- keep making connections....what about a part time job, if you go to college, you can join psychology club or a sport or live in dorms, one of my friends I was going door to door knocking to find who parked their car in my way- made a good friend!!! You have all the qualities a true friend has, and time is on your side, the only way to go is up.....
