Do what is best for you and focus on yourself and your mental well-being. Sexual encounters should not be a part of your hospital plans, leave that off the table this time.

Where I live, they generally will not admit you just for self-injury unless it's very serious or you're suicidal and/or homicidal (with a plan and intending to carry it out). There are exceptions - my last hospitalization was for a med tweak and I wasn't even suicidal. Just giving you a heads up that if you can promise you'll stay safe at home, they likely won't admit you.
