My former T did his internship at a VA hospital and I would recommend him to anyone. They are extremely selective in who they choose for those internships and I'm sure you will get good care. My experience with interns is that they are still passionate about what they do, not nearly as jaded and clinical as Ts can get when they've been at it for decades. The youngsters have different ways of approaching things that can really work well where others have failed. That's been my experience, anyway.
