Hello symphony: I'm sorry you are having such a difficult time. My thinking with regard to what you wrote is that perhaps, under the circumstances, being admitted to an unfamiliar psych facility may be the lesser of two evils.

I also struggle with suicidal thoughts every day. And I've acted on them in the past as well. So this is familiar territory to me. And one thing I know is that suicidal thinking is nothing to mess around with. So since the support you're receiving at the moment isn't helpful, or is possibly even making matters worse, perhaps going inpatient somewhere unfamiliar is at least something that should be considered.
