And that is why I am itching for the door. He is so this archetype. His wife works in town and I believe he takes her to work in the morning and drops her off and he picks her up at night. So traffic is bad at 9 AM and 5 PM so he comes in at 9:30 and picks her up at 6. I am sure they have maids taking care of their home and sure, why not work all day. Then they drive home.

But the little people have to take the train and if we don't make our 5:00 PM trains the next train won't come until 6 and get me home at 7 and THAT is if it is on time which, it never is. Little person that I am I cannot arrive after 9 AM or I get docked (I have to put in leave time) so it isn't like I can synch with him.

My workplace has this attitude among the managers that they get what they want.. as if they are gods. If they say -- stay late.. you do.. if they say do this.. you do. I cannot abide by that attitude and I have been paying for it for 14 years. They aren't gods... I have ever right to be angry if they won't let me leave on time for NO reason and yes, I get to judge if it is no reason. Otherwise how am I not a slave? I am a slave... I wish it wasn't the truth but employment today is modern day slavery. In fact in legal books it is called "master and servant" and I thought I was going to be the master but... I am just the servant.

I am supposed to stay at work and work as hard as him for 1/2 the money.

For the moment I am going to cut off the communication. I am 100% the communicator so I will be sure not to tell him about a late night thing until it is far to late to do anything about it. Oh.. I was in the bathroom.. sorry.
