Most hospitals now have a program where they have to treat you in ER. Once you get the bill, you take it to the billing office and explain that you have no funds. Depending on income, part or all of the bill can be erased. Are you not working at all? If that's the case, the entire thing could be written off.
I would only do ER as a last resort, though. Are there local clinics in the area that go according to income? You can call the local hospitals to find out. Also, you can call your county human services department to find out where clinics might be.
Also, can you borrow from a family member to be seen?
I really think you should be seen by an MD. I hope there are services available in your area to do just that.
