i come from an army family and had to have combat ptsd explained to me when i was 3 yrs old ... most of my family were serving in northern ireland back then and i knew US families who had boys in Nam, so it was very scary and confusing to a wee one. also, all my bf's (bar 1) and 1 husband were army. i never signed up myself but i've been there a lot for folks going through combat ptsd. it's not an easy thing for those of you going through it and i don't feel there's enough irl understanding or resources for it yet, not here in the Uk anyway.

so i just wanted to say, i do understand and if i can help any of you, even just by being an ear, i will.

hope it's ok to post this?

for all
