I'm not sure how to start this post, but I'll give it my best shot.

In 2015, I was set up on a date with a guy by people whom I thought were friends/acquaintances. We dated for about a month. I was very candid about my history of psycholigical abuse. He seemed to understand. We got intimate. Then he changed and ultimately dumped me. I asked why he was doing that to me and he replied, "well, you got dumped because of psychological abuse, right?" in a very cruel and cold tone.

A little while later, I saw him with a new car and came to find out he was paid to date me, engage in physical relations with me, and dump me. It traumatized me severely.

I would like to know if this is abuse and if it is, what kind of abuse is this?
