Well, I normally don't double post in threads, but I wanted to share more info about IMDb.com and their strange terms.
David Boreanaz (who is widely known for playing the vampire, Angel) was an extra in two little known 90's films, way before he was famous. Now in one such film, which is also about skiing, you cannot find him because there's a large crowd. My only clue was that he was the tenth guy in the back row waving, or whatever this page said. To date, I've never found him, but at least I know he's just a guy in the audience watching the action. But IMDb again violated their own rules. They had listed him for a number of years as simply "Extra" and they aren't supposed to allow that, as the person who is an extra still needs to have a proper character name, no matter how big or small the "role" is (unless they are credited as an extra, because it can sometimes occur). So I put "Spectator" and that was okay.
I found an archived page on Google, from a book or something. It was saying David got his start in Hollywood from the use of his right hand. Never had I been able to be something of a modern day Sherlock Holmes with actors this way, but I guess vague clues helped me pinpoint Sylvester Stallone, so why not David as well? There was also an MSN conversation I found on a fan site where David was doing a Q&A with a fan, or multiple fans at once. A girl asked him if he was easy to spot in Best of the Best II, and he admitted he had huge hair. He did not reveal where he could be seen, though.
So where was he? Um, you can see him in a few scenes, just as a parking valet. You can see him near the start of the film very briefly and then just another one time half an hour later. The valets that stop people in their cars often use those glowing things, so you can glimpse him for a second. Later, two of the main characters go to a seedy club when they find out their mate (a fellow martial arts expert) is pulled out of a river after being beaten to death. Basically, the club plays disco music for its patrons as a front, but they also have a deadly martial arts organization held there too. Their friend died in a fight with this brute, and one of the guys has a kid who happened to see the man's death, but got away from the guards. Anyway, David was near the front door when Eric Roberts and this other guy walked down the street and into the Las Vegas club. He gets handed a bit of paper (a ticket?) and glances at the guys heading into the club, while speaking to another guy...all the while displaying his huge hair! That year, he also had a guest spot on Married with Children.
Holy crap; I should be getting paid to find famous people in films as hidden extras. Ha-ha.
