((((jan)))) geez. some people who don't want to get involved should be slapped silly. i had found out about a girl who was physically abused by her dad years ago, and i called the child protective services. i kept my identity a secret because i was terrified that the father would come after me (he actually went after a neighbor who he thought called the child protective services on him). gee, i was scared, as i was only a teen at the time. i am so glad that you called, jan. this happens more often than you think......where people either said that they will call, but never did, or think that someone else will call. i know how difficult it is for you. take care of yourself.
