I gave her the collage and card today i made for her for xmas. She smiled, she said “I love it.” And she sat and looked at it for a few mins. Then she opened the card and said she would read it later because I wrote a book! There was stuff on the chair I usually sit at so I sat in the other one. She said, “I’m not used to you sitting there.” Haha. I asked if she wanted me to move and she said that she’d adust. Hehe. She commented on my haircut. She said it makes me look younger. She asked me where I got my shoes because she was looking for them for her niece. I told her target and she said she liked them. We talked about how I saw her at my work today. She had to pull over to change her son’s diaper! And I just happened to look out the window and saw her. I thought I was seeing things but it really was her. We sat in silence for a little. She said, “are you there?” I didn’t know what to talk about. Then we talked about my public speaking fear a little more… she showed me her stone that she got when she was 19 that you rub your thumb on to calm yourself. She let me hold it and I didn’t want to give it back. She said, “I think you like my stone.” And she said shes on a mission now to find one for me. I dunno if she actually will though…. Then it was over. We hugged, she thanked me for the collage and told me again she loves it. She said call if anything comes up. It was a little awkward of a session not saying much, but I can’t wait for her to read my card. Wednesday is so far away….
