Thought I'd share something that I'm trying out with our cat, who gorges and then throws up her food...she's never been able to get over her days of trying to survive outside. Anyway, last year I had tried one of those little mats with all the rubbery spikes, that the food is supposed to fall inbetween, so she has to work a little to get her food......our cat just sat and stared at if. Didn't get the concept I guess.
So, I was reading a review on Amazon for a slow feeder, and this woman suggested just flipping your pets bowl over and scattering the kibble around it. I tried it, and it worked. I decided to make things neater by putting down this huge platter and placing small proportions in different places around the plate. It's much neater, and it's working!
Just thought I'd share, with the hope that it will help someone else.
