LOL Sky. I baked a beautiful cake once and forgot to put baking powder and eggs in it. Just completely forgot. I ended up with marvellously tasty, 12 inch chocolate cookie dust. Flat, hard and totally crumbly. I baked it for it's whole hour, watching it NOT rise and thinking, "gee, what an odd cake"

I bet the cookies taste fine, just a little overdone. Not so bad hun. Dunk them in milk, crush them up and use them as a cookie crust for a lemon chiffon pie or maybe a banana cream pie.
Don't worry about it. I'm sure we all have baking horror stories.
