they are probably laws from long ago that someone found and threw together... example when I went to another state to visit some family friends I thought they were going to die of shock when I opened a box of oatmeal you know the instant kind you just add hot water to, for my children. I asked them what was wrong and they said its illegal to eat cereal on sunday, I thought they were pulling my leg but they showed me that in town laws that there was indeed a law that said no eating cereal on sunday. stupid law for now but back then it wasnt because sunday was the day of rest even for women who did the cooking of oats into cereal.

my point somewhere some time there probably was a town that had problems arising from these things in the link so they had to make rules about them... when you think about it flip flops and men over 50 may have been a problem, 50 isnt old age now but it was sometime ago where 50 year olds were considered old, tripping over their feet and such, many people now days cant wear flip flop style shoes because they dont have the co ordination and such to keep them on. back in older times it could have been dangerous to have a roommate. they had homes and inns, a roommate could kill you in your sleep and take over your gold claim and so on... again my point these may have been laws and rules that made sense many years ago...

when I read things like this besides what I already wrote I also take into consideration we life in world of fake news... and the internet. I live by the motto of not believing everything I read online. no reason for me to get all worked up about something I read online when I have more important things to get worked up over.
