You are not a fraud for posting here...you are nothing of the sort. You're just like the rest of us...battling against food for one reason or another. You mentioned emotional hunger as causing this. Perhaps you could keep a journal? "food for thought" so to speak? You also mentioned boredom, perhaps pick something specific to engage yourself in when you feel these sorts of urges approaching. Arts and crafts, walking, reading, music, do you have a pet?, cleaning, writing, etc.
