It would be a good idea to get checked out medically including a sleep study. I had times of paralysis including waking up unable to breathe, unable to make those muscles work and scared to death because I could see and think but I couldn't move. Once it happened when I was in the hospital and I could see the nurse at the bed of the other patient in the room but couldn't move or speak. Years later I told my doctor about this because I was going to have surgery and I was so worried that it would happen after anesthesia and I would die.

I had the sleep study done and used a CPAP machine for about 10 years; then I lost a lot of weight and quit smoking and now the sleep apnea doesn't happen anymore..

Pot does induce panic/paranoia and it relaxed the muscles so much that I think it induces the paralysis too. My experience with this began when I smoked pot.

It is a scary thing to have happen! I'm sorry you're having this happen to you.
