If it helps any -the woman (in her 70's) (which on this at least I say have at it -I think women of any age should wear what they want) has worn shoes like this at least once and it was in the middle of the afternoon. I only noticed because we met on the stairs and I was following her and her ankle was wobbling. I also was told by another person who saw her for a period of time (an acquaintance and I found out accidentally) that the woman wears fishnet stockings. I haven't noticed because I rarely notice her clothing at all -but the idea does not surprise me.
