I suggest you call social services and ask for an emergency
grant for your heat and light. If you explain your situation I'm
sure they'll help. You may also be eligible for clothing vouchers for you and for your baby, too. And please ask your
worker what other benefits besides the family allowance
that you are able to get especially for your baby. Also, GST
checks are mailed out in early January. If you don't get GST
contact the federal government for you will get back checks
