I hear that there are lots of people who consider Psychology a weird major. Not just due to a poor job market, every major has that problem, but due to the fact that the stigma is that anyone who majors in Psychology will try to read other people's minds. While this could potentially be true for some people, it is not always the case. And I hope no one ever majors in Psychology just to become a professional mind reader as well. It is one thing to learn social cues, but a completely different scenario to constantly try to read other people's minds to the point of creeping them out. Has anyone ever told you Psychology is a weird or bad major? What was their reasoning behind it? Just curious.
