It's very rare for someone with bipolar disorder to cycle that rapidly, but people who appear to cycle that rapidly may have Borderline instead. The two disorders are similar in some ways.

Oh no sorry, what I mean is my GAD had been fine under medication from 2009 to 6 months ago.
I have always bought up the subject of Bipolar.
I'm wondering.....for the last 4 years up until 3 months ago I was on 20mg of Olanzapine. My psychiatrist found this out and stopped it straightaway as I am also type 2 diabetic and Olanzapine increases blood sugar levels and also increases appetite.
I have always had problems with switching from happy to low at a moments notice or the low lasting a much longer time. It has caused lots of grief between my parents and me and my husband and me.
