Hey. I don't blame you for questioning it. I have read about people who were dx with or suspected to have BP as kids who seems to "grew out of it" (or maybe they didn't have it after all?). I wouldn't focus so much on the label as in how you feel. When the cure iseems worse than the disease it's reasonable to see if you could go med free.
But I agree with the above posters- do it in the care of a good pdoc who will taper you verrrry slowly off the meds- people have been known to get refractory symptoms when trying to stop meds and the dr uses that as evidence that they need to stay on them bc symptomsnreturned, when it's possible that it is simply your body's reaction to medication withdrawal.
