Sure, psychological additions are the hardest to break IMO. I am quoting a post I made in another forum. If the guy I am referring to had a physical addiction, he would have gotten DTs when he stopped for 5 days. those can be treated and within a few days or weeks the physical addiction is gone. His psychological addiction cannot be treated by anyone else.

Your ability to verbally communicate is something that could likely be resolved in therapy.
