I think I took 8mg of Risperdal so a reasonably high dose. In the beginning it helped stop delusions *i think* but I gained weight RAPIDLY....I lost my period, was EXTREMELY bloated and puffy to the point of not being able to make a fist and then I broke out with in a horrible, painfully itchy rash from head to toe and vomiting over and over.....I stopped taking it instantly. I think I was taking latuda with it so it's unknown what caused the allergy, Latuda, Risperdal or the combo.
