This sounds just like me. I was also just diagnosed with Bipolar 2. I have started on Lamictal and now Gabapentin. I hope you find the right medication and therapy.

Current meds: 75mg Lamictal (working up to 200), 100mg Gabapentin (working up to a therapeutic dose)
Diagnosed with BP2 June 2017 at 40 years old.
