I think you handled everything just fine and I would guess your dad would say the same...and I say that as a terminal dad (cancer) who has two daughters who do their very best for me while we all anticipate the end of my life. I grieve with you over your loss and I encourage you to hold your head high as a loving daughter who gave her father her own very best.
