I hate when every little detail goes wrong and things fight one. It's much worse when one doesn't feel well to begin with; when I was having my arm problem late this summer, I sat down one morning to try to work on my computer a bit in this easy chair and small items (pen, glasses, napkin, etc.) kept falling on the floor where I couldn't get them due to my arm pain. Finally it got too much for me, I opened up my school system and withdrew from all classes and deleted all files and websites, etc. having to do with my program! I just snapped.

Reading your account I smiled when you described how the nozzle hit "just right" to cover you in ice water :-) Recently I was being angry and "cussing out" drivers, etc. while driving and stopped for a moment and wished I'd just calm down and be more patient. Immediately the car in front of me slowed down even more and that got me laughing because I was able to immediately pair it with the wish I'd exercise more patience. It's like the warning one's parent would give, "I'll give you something to cry about".

Doesn't sound like "anger" as much as frustration? And you had quite legitimate reasons, bad days at work and then the car wash doing it's best to discombobulate you? Last night, at least, sounds like you were feeling and behaving appropriately! It's when we can be patient in trying circumstances that we're not "normal" I think :-)

Are your work problems maybe related to the holiday season? I was grocery shopping a couple days ago and got horribly frustrated with all the people and madhouse atmosphere; I couldn't imagine being stuck there as a clerk during such times!
